Kalina first came to Uganda in 2011 to work voluntarily in Entebbe. Shortly after, she met Mozzy the founder of WUO. They immediately became friends and he showed her all the wonderful sides of Uganda, its people and culture. Kalina has always had unending love for children and is very determined and energetic. She said, “Wake up Ugandan´s Children is not only a great opportunity to support and help children enjoy life, it is led by people who utterly and completely love what they are doing and put all their hard work in it. I am more than thrilled to be part of this great organization and will do everything in my power to make sure that this project will thrive even more and bring good to the children who need it the most. Knowledge itself is power let´s get together, and help those children who are not as fortunate as we are.” Kalina has been a great asset of our organization ever since. 

As the face of Wake up in Europe, she is responsible for laying possible strategies of looking for supporters and agencies willing to support the organization. Further, Kalina is broadening the circle of our supporters and therewith manages to find new sponsors for our children. She also works with other team members and researches for the best possible funding opportunities in Germany and internationally.
